Plan and prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals and snacks in accordance with the Canada Food Guide and any centre-specific menus or dietary guidelines. Accommodate children’s allergies, dietary restrictions, and cultural preferences, ensuring all meals are safe and appropriate. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen at all times, following public health and safety standards. Receive, store, and rotate food supplies properly to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
